Taylor Mullen-Beck

Hello! I am Taylor Mullen-Beck, Sunrise's school librarian. I started my educational career as a 7th grade ELA teacher here at Sunrise for the 2022-2023 school year, and I am excited to move on to my new role as the school librarian. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Kearney with my BAE in December of 2021, and I anticipate graduating from UNK again with my masters degree in curriculum & instruction on the librarian track in May of 2025. 

 

While being a Silverhawk is a huge part of my life, it is not the only part of me. I am currently engaged to my fiancé, Collin, and we will be married in October 2024. We have two cats, Everett and Emory, and we love to spend our time together in our backyard, eating at local restaurants, and hanging out on our couch while he plays his Xbox and I read my book. My favorite genres are thriller/mystery (ask me about Karen McManus) and realistic fiction. If you ever want to exchange recommendations, stop in and see me in the library. I'd love to chat!
