Stacie Blackmore Bio
Stacie Blackmore has been the choir director at Sunrise Middle School since 2022. Prior to teaching at Kearney Public Schools, she was the choral director at Cozad Community Schools for 21 years, teaching choir grades 6-12. Mrs. Blackmore earned her undergraduate degree from Northern Arizona University and completed her student teaching assignment in San Diego, CA. She earned her Master of Education Degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Throughout her career she has held numerous leadership positions, most recently serving on the Nebraska Music Education Association & NSEA Board of Directors. She enjoys directing honor choir clinics, judging honor choir auditions, and adjudicating music contests. She is married to her husband Woody and has two sons, Sam & Elliott.
