Classified / Classified Exempt Application Process

Welcome to the Classified Online Application Process

Click Here to see our current job openings for Classified Staff and click on the position title for more information about that specific position.

To apply for a position, click the "Apply" button next to the job listing and then select "Apply for this 

Now you can begin to create your application profile.  New users will select "Create New".  Previous users can log-in with their past username and password. 

Before you begin, be prepared with the following information.

1. User Name and Password:
   This will be created on your initial visit.  Record and protect this information for future use.  Your username and password will be needed each time you enter the system. Once this is set up, you will be able to apply for a position in any school that uses the TalentEd Recruit & Hire Application Software.
2. Email address:
   This will be used for future correspondence.  If you do not have an email address, you can get a free one from one of several providers. Some popular ones are Google Mail, Yahoo and Hotmail.
3. Social Security Number:
   This will be used for background checks and payroll purposes.
4. References (at least 3):
   Include their current address, phone number, and email.  These individuals may be contacted to verify your employability.
5. Previous Work History.  Include dates of employment, current company name, address, phone number, and supervisor's name and email address.  

Note: After completing your application profile, you must click "Apply for This Position" and submit an application for EACH position you wish to be considered a candidate.   

Certified Internal Transfer Process

Welcome to the Certified Internal Transfer Online Process - This process is only for current certified staff!

*Before submitting an application, please inform your current principal or supervisor of your intent to apply for a transfer. If you are currently employed by Kearney Public Schools as a Classified employee (for example, a Paraeducator or a Substitute teacher), you are asked to complete the Certified Online Application so we have the additional information needed to accurately evaluate your qualifications.

Directions for submitting an Internal Transfer Application:

1. Click Here to see the current vacancy list and identify the internal positions that are open across the district 
2. Click the Job Listings page to find the application.
3. In the upper right corner of the page you will want to Sign In and create a profile if you have not done that in the new system.
4. Go to "My Profile" on the left side and create your profile.
5. Click "Apply for this Position" next to the position titled "Certified - Internal Transfer".  
6. The application will ask you to list your preferred positions.
7. Complete and submit the application.
