Understanding Your Pay for the 2025-26 School Year!
We are excited to welcome our returning employees back, as well as welcome new employees!
This time of year we field many questions about paychecks. We are always happy to help you understand how to read your pay stubs.
Here are a few important reminders:
- New pay rates will be reflected on your September paycheck
- Any hours worked prior to August 7th will be on reflect in the August pay period and will include 2024-25 pay rates.
- Any hours worked after August 7th, will be reflected on the September pay period and will include the 2025-26 pay period.
- All Staff members will receive both their annual wage increase as well as their extra step for their experience effective September 1. This means that past staff members do not need to wait until their anniversary to advance a step.
Paraprofessional Training Information
Paraprofessionals serve a critical role for our school and our students. It can be a challenging position as you navigate the various roles and responsibilities. Please see THIS guidance from the Nebraska Department of Education to clarify the position, goals and outcomes.
