Mr. Zimmer (American History)

I have been teaching 8th grade American History at Sunrise Middle School since 2008. I'm also one of the Cross Country coaches at Sunrise and I help coach the girl's basketball team at Kearney High. Prior to this I taught and coached in Ponca, NE for 4 years and Hartington, NE for 8 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from UNK and my Master's Degree in School Administration from Wayne State College.

Parents/Guardians: I want to thank you in advance for entrusting me with your children. I'm committed to providing your children with the best educational experience that I can. I love being an educator and it is my hope that your children will grow as a result of being in my classroom.

Students: Learning is an ongoing process. It never ends. It takes both the teacher and the student to make it work. I'm looking forward to working with each one of you and by working together I hope you end up with a great educational experience.
